Michele Holmes, Wyoming Department of Workforce Services will offer a brief overview of the Labor Market Information available through the Research & Planning (R&P) Web site, such as industry and occupational projections, and wage information.  She will also take a look at some of the skill sets and education levels employers are saying they need from their employees - this information comes from R&P's New Hires Survey, and will be of use to Human Resource Professionals and business owners alike.

Michele earned an Associate’s degree in Communications from Casper College and went on to earn Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from the University of Wyoming.  Prior to joining Research & Planning, Michele taught English and Technical Writing courses for the University of Wyoming and Ashford University. Michele also worked in the private sector as a Public Relations Representative, where she developed corporate communications, produced marketing materials and delivered presentations at national trade shows.  In the Research & Planning section of the Department of Workforce Services, Michele uses her skills as a researcher, content editor and technical writer to develop educational training and outreach programs for Research & Planning.
